    <p>Министерство сельского хозяйства Бразилии отправило в национальную внешнеторговую палату запрос о разрешении на ввоз дешевой робусты. Если запрос одобрят, впервые за долгое время Бразилия станет импортером кофе. Министерство сельского хозяйства считает, что только так можно избежать кризиса в производстве растворимого кофе. Запрошенная на импорт квота составляет 1 миллион мешков по 60 кг.  Бразилия – крупнейший в мире производитель и экспортер зеленого зерна, а также растворимого кофе.   • Brazil’s exports to reach 34 million bags in 2016, says CECAFÉ

    <p>Brazil exported 3,071,554 60-kg bags of coffee in all forms in November down 12.2% on year, according to the Brazilian Coffee Exporters Council, or CECAFÉ. Export earnings rose 5.6% thanks to improved prices. Green coffee exports fell 14.3% on year. Robusta exports plummeted 28,390 bags, down 90.3% on year.
