The Tea Masters Cup, the competition that puts a strain on professionals and tea lovers, arrives in Italy. The winner will fly to South Korea for the final World Cup MILAN - After the success in several countries around the world, the Tea Masters Cup arrives in Italy: a competition starring professionals and enthusiasts of the second most consumed beverage in the world after water, tea. The first Italian edition will be held in Milan on 22nd May 2016. The prize: a trip to South Korea! The winner of the competition will participate in the World Final Round of the Tea Masters Cup in Seoul from 9 to 13 June 2016. Apart from challenging the best Tea Masters from all over the world, there is a rich program to discover the tea culture in one of the high quality teas’ producing Country: tea gardens and Tea Estates, traditional ceremonies, buddhist monasteries where the monks for over 1300 years have preserved and kept alive the tradition of this ancient beverage, the art of handmade pottery. Participants will compete in the category of Tea Tasting. The competition will take place in Milan at the tea room Chà Tea Atelier, one of the sponsors of the event organized in Italy by Protea.  Protea is a non-profit association that aims to promote and spread the culture of tea, through professional tea courses, cultural tea trips and events including Tea Masters Cup Italy.
