Building on the success of previous Forums, the 4th Global Dubai Tea Forum provides a unique platform to network with key participants across the international tea industry. Supported by decision makers from across the industry, the forum is attended by over 350 delegates, including producers & merchant exporters from producing countries, regional & international tea buyers, Tea Board and Associations, machine manufacturers, raw material suppliers, and many others connected with the tea industry. Organized by the Dubai Tea Trading Centre (DTTC), a business unit of the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), a Dubai Government initiative, it is the only global event specific to the industry held in the Middle East. Aimed at addressing new developments and key issues facing the industry with a focus on sharing industry-specific knowledge, the Global Dubai Tea Forum will be held from 3rd - 5th April 2012 at the prestigious Atlantis Hotel, Palm Jumeirah, Dubai. Since its inception in 2005, the Dubai Tea Trading Centre has made a significant contribution to the establishment of Dubai as an international tea trading hub. In 2010, a record 10.6 million Kgs of multi origin teas were transacted through the DTT . Source: dmcc.ae/jltauthority/tea/events/event-details/1
