  • Assam CM to return meagre donation by tea industry

    <p>Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi, while expressing his displeasure over the meagre donations, directed the concerned department to return the cheques.     <p>The Tea Research Association (TRA), Tocklai, Assam, which is more than a 100 years old, has launched a mobile application to disseminate information quickly. Named TRA Tocklai, the application has been put on the Android and iOS platforms. “This is the first such mobile application in the world on tea research,” said Joydeep Phukon, Secretary, TRA, who conceived the application.
